At Heroes, our heads solve problems and are always learning, our hearts are respectful and considerate, and our hands work together for the good of all.
Heroes Elementary School opened in school year 2011-2012 as the result of the need for an additional elementary school aboard Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Base. Children from Berkeley Manor, Heroes Manor, and Paradise Point housing areas attend Heroes Elementary School.
Heroes Elementary School is built to serve approximately 770 students in PK through 5th grade. Our school has 38 classrooms with other classrooms designed for special areas and curriculum support.

The daily schedule for Heroes Elementary is built to enable students and teachers to have large amounts of blocked time to facilitate uninterrupted instructional time. Wednesday afternoon, early release time, is an opportunity for the staff to participate in a professional learning community to collaborate, purposefully plan instruction, and look at school data to focus on continuous improvement and student achievement.
The staff of Heroes Elementary School is proud to serve the military community of Camp Lejeune by providing a school environment that is safe and gives students the opportunity to learn and be successful.
