Read Across America at Heroes

Read Across America Week was a huge success at Heroes Elementary School. Students were challenged to read 2,000 minutes school wide. Not only did Heroes students read 2,000 minutes but they even surpassed this goal and read a total of 2,179 minutes in the month of March. Students celebrated the end of the March Madness Reading Challenge and Read Across America with a Reading Assembly to share all the great things a book can do for us and where books can take us. The following classes were our top reading classes in the month of March and will receive a popsicle party from the PTO.
